Oprah claims that her favorite jeans – Cookie Johnson Jeans – are the perfect jeans for women with “real booties.”
Cookie Johnson, the business-savvy wife of NBA superstar Michael Johnson, designed the CJ line of denim. Cookie’s motivation was never being able to find the perfect-fitting jeans for her “fit but curvy” figure. “I couldn’t find jeans to fit my body type,” she explains. “It frustrated me to try on every pair in the store and leave with nothing.”
Cookie Johnson Jeans come in sizes from 24 to 28 and are sold at upscale department stores like Nordstrom’s, Bloomingdale’s and Neiman Marcus and cost between $141 and $198.
