Brittany Murphy Death Due to Pneumonia – Drugs a Factor
BBC has reported the following:
US actress Brittany Murphy died of pneumonia, a Los Angeles coroner has ruled.
Intoxication from prescription drugs was also a factor in her death, according to toxicology tests.
Murphy, who starred in Clueless and 8 Mile, collapsed at her Los Angeles home and was pronounced dead in hospital on 20 December, aged 32.
The star’s husband, Simon Monjack, told a US TV show she had been suffering from laryngitis before she died.
