Rising Sun, Indiana teen Andrew Conley has been charged as an adult with the murder of his younger brother, Conner Conley, 10. He claims he did it to satisfy his craving to kill.

Prosecutors, in an affidavit, said Andrew Conley, 17, showed no remorse when he entered the police station Sunday and announced that he had killed his brother. They said he described how he choked his younger brother for about 20 minutes, saying he strangled the boy to satisfy a craving like a hungry person eating a hamburger,  “Like I had to … like when people have something like they are hungry and there is a hamburger sitting there and they knew they had to have it and I was sitting there and it just happened.”

Conley was charged as an adult in Ohio Circuit Court, a decision that is supported by his parent according to Dearborn-Ohio County Prosecutor Aaron Negangard. Conley’s attorney, Gary Sorge, entered a plea of not guilty on behalf of his client who is accused of intentionally strangling his brother while they were wrestling at the family home on Sunday then dumping his body in a park.

Proscecutors also said that Conley told investigators that killing Connor made him feel like “Dexter,” Showtime’s fictional serial killer. “I just feel like him,” he said of the character. Conley also claims to have cut himself in the past.
