Gun-Toting Soccer Mom Meleanie Hain Found Shot Dead

Meleanie Hain, the soccer mom who gained national attention for openly carrying a loaded gun to her 5-year-old daughter’s game, was found shot dead along with her husband Scott Hain.
In what appeared to be a murder-suicide, the couple were pronounced dead in their Lebanon, PA home Wednesday night.
Their three children were at home at the time, but unharmed, and have been taken to stay with relatives and friends.
According to a neighbor, Meleanie, 31, and Scott, 33, had been having marital problems Scott left on Tuesday and Meleanie did not know where he went, but he came back Wednesday.
No further details are available at this time.
Meleanie gained national attention when she showed up at her daughter’s soccer game wearing a holstered gun on her hip on September 11, 2008.
Her carry permit was revoked by Lebanon County Sheriff Michael DeLeo on September 20, 2008, but reinstated by Lebanon County Judge Robert Eby on October 14, 2008.
Hain said she would continue to carry her gun openly under the Second Amendment, and filed a lawsuit against DeLeo seeking reimbursement of attorneys’ fees and costs, emotional distress and lost wages.

I found her profile on Facebook. Judging from the picture that she posted and the fact that 95% of her friends were men ( none of which were her husband), I’m thinking that perhaps she may not be such an innocent victim. Only the children are, in this case.
