Beating Death of 16-Year-Old Derrion Albert Caught on Video
Chicago police are looking for the killers that beat 16-year-old Derrion Albert to death as he was walking home from school on Thursday.
Students at Fenger High School say two rival gang members had been talking all day about a big fight that was supposed to go down after school, away from security guards and cameras.
No knives and guns were used in the fight. Just fists, feet and boards from a nearby railroad.
Witnesses say Albert, a quiet honor roll student, got caught in the middle of the two gangs fighting as he tried to help another student, and was hit in the back of the head with a board. He fell to the ground, where he continued to get beaten and stomped.
Students and workers from a nearby community center tried to rescue the teen, dragging him inside, but it was too late.
Video obtained by Fox Chicago shows the boy getting struck in the head with a board and falling to the ground. A voice can be heard yelling, “Derrion, get up!”
Police have a copy of the tape, and are trying to identify Albert’s killers.

im so bothered.. and upset with this video!… its so hurting to see such young children fighting.. over.. what was not worth losing a life for!… I hate the Fact that.. there were so much people around and not one… Helped!.. nor TRIED in there will to stop it.. but just TAPED IT… maybe a life would have been saved!.. if people took charge..im 20 and pregnant.. and i hope i never have to SEE my child go threw anything like that!
