Lindsay Lohan Fired From Film, ‘The Other Side’
Lindsay Lohan is making headlines and, as usual, for all the wrong reasons.
Just days after her dad Michael showed up at her apartment with cops to check on LiLo and her younger sister Ali, and on the heels of being named a suspect in the theft of a $35,000 Rolex, the troubled actress was fired from The Other Side.
“Our team simply chose to move on from Lindsay and we’ll soon be announcing a replacement,” writer/director David Michaels told TMZ. Lohan, 23, was set to play a grad student working on a deserted island.
Sources connected with the film say the film’s financial backers were nervous about relying on Lohan and didn’t think she was “bankable.”
Another source tells US Magazine, the film’s failure to get financing had “nothing to do with Lindsay. It was because it was an unknown director. All the major stars in this film dropped out.”
