Actor Corey Haim Found Dead
Actor Corey Haim, 38, died this morning of an apparent overdose of prescription medications. The Canadian actor reportedly collapsed in a bathroom and was discovered unresponsive by his mother Judy, who telephoned 911 at 12:53 a.m. from his Southern California apartment. He was pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m. at a Burbank hospital.
Police officers were notified of his death by medical personnel and LAPD has opened an investigation that will include an autopsy and toxicology testing. Police reportedly recovered four perscription bottles near where he collapsed.
Corey was best known for his roles in ‘License to Drive’, ‘Lost Boys’, and ‘Dream a Little Dream’.
