Ford Lookin’ Good

Alan Mullaly, CEO of Ford Motor Co said on Wednesday the U.S. market was looking good and vehicle sales were expected to increase.
”In the long term it’s going to grow with the economy,” he said.
Reuters covered Mullay’s comments to reporters in New Delhi during the unveiling of the Figo, a small car scheduled to be available in the Indian market next year.
Mullaly estimated that vehicle sales for the industry to be between 10.5 million to 11 million in 2009, about 12.5 million in 2010, and 14.5 million in 2011.
Ford is the only major automobile manufacturer in America that did not fall into bankruptcy or beg for government loans.
